Junior Graphic Designer

ArtSkills, Inc., is seeking a fulltime Junior Graphic Designer in its Art Department in Bethlehem, PA.  Major Responsibilities: 

• Work with supervisors to design products and graphics that fulfill Marketing objectives. 

• Review existing packaging including minor graphics updates, resizing graphics to new footprint, and create packaging refreshes to existing products. 

• Accurately set up files for production utilizing an established production checklist. 

• Use style guide to develop product and packaging styles and highlight unique features and benefits of specific products. 

• Support Sales & Marketing in presentations including PowerPoint presentations, meeting boards, infographics, web banners/ads. 

• Art execution for all projects, including preliminary sketches and concept mock-ups. 

• Layout creative designs with quick turnaround time. 

• Accept and implement Art Director's and Creative Director's corrections and suggestions. 

• Effectively manage project timelines. 

• Work collaboratively with team. 


• 0-3 years professional experience. Package design experience a plus. 

• Foundational knowledge of process, Pantone vs. CMYK, and color theory. 

• Training in package design, layout, and application to 3D structures. 

• Technical mindset, open to learning how to create mechanical files for overseas production. 

• Ability to work independently on a multiple projects with timelines. 

• Ability to work collaboratively and be mentored by senior staff. 

• BFA or MFA in Graphic Design or related field. 

• Strong MAC skills with extensive knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. 

• Strong design skill set with high sensitivity to typography and layout. 

• Excellent time management, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills. 

• Solid understanding of design process. 

• Positive work ethic.
