Easter Reverse Canvas

 

 

What You'll Need:

•Crafter's Closet Stretched Canvas 8" x 10"

•Crafter's Closet Craft Wood Stain Walnut 

Crafter's Closet Black Chalkboard Craft Paint

• Crafter's Closet Deco Podge Matte 

Crafter's Closet Premium Paint Brush 

Crafter's Closet Project Knife 

Crafter's Closet Precision Scissors

Let's Do This!

STEP 1:

A) Use a project knife to cut the canvases loose from the staples on the wood frames. 

B) Use a hammer to flatten the staples flush with the wood frames. This will be the back of the craft. 

 

STEP 2:

A) Stain the frames. Let dry. 

B) Paint one canvas with black chalkboard paint. Let dry.  

STEP 3:

A) Run a line of hot glue around the back of the wood frame. 

B) Lay the wood frame onto the canvas and push down to flatten the hot glue onto the canvas. 

C) Use a project knife to cut around the frame and remove the excess canvas. 

D) You will have one white-framed canvas and one black-framed canvas.   

STEP 4:

A) Print the template and cut out the bunny shapes. 

B) Apply deco podge to the backs of the bunny shapes. 

C) Press the bunny shapes onto the canvases. Let dry. 

D) Use hot glue to add a cotton ball bunny tail on each bunny.
