Instructions

Steps

Steps to Follow:

TITLE:  BRIGHT IDEA with lights

To make theBright Idea poster on the Poster Wizard:

Step 1:  PickYour Poster Size.

Choosea size that will best fit your poster layout. I chose a vertical poster to fit my light bulb template.

Step 2:  Pick aBackground Color.

Youwant the color to enhance, but not overpower your information or clip artimages.  I am keeping my background whiteto let my light bulb stand out.

Step 3:  Pick a Template.

Clickon “see more one image templates”.  Findthe light bulb template and click on it to add it to your poster.  You will have to resize and tilt yourtemplate to fit your poster.

Step 4:  Add a Title.

Thisis the main point I want to get across. This is where you want to grab attention so be creative and reinforceyour poster’s theme.  I added all mywording as titles.  For Bright Idea, Iused black quick letters with neon quick letters on top for a drop shadoweffect.  I then used black vinyl lettersfor Vote for Me.  I added my name withblack quick letters and pink quick letters on top for a drop shadoweffect.  I then added class presidentwith blue foam letters.  You may have toadjust the sizes for a pleasing layout.

Step 5:  Now you are ready to SAVE and FINISH.

Whenyou are finished, your poster will be sent to you by email.  Then you can decide how you would like toprint out your poster.

Step 6:  Add lights.

Ifyou really want to catch your classmates’ attention and get votes, add lightsto your FINISHED poster.  I added PosterLights within the edge of the light bulb to make my vote for me poster eyecatching.
