Steps to Follow:
- Grab a board. We recommend a 22” X 28” poster board. Print all four Plate Templates. Adhere each template to a piece of felt. Trim to size. Form the circle and attach the felt to separate pieces of paper to make it sturdy and easy to glue together. If you have a piece of felt big enough, you can cut out a 15” diameter circle and attach it to a piece of paper to make it sturdier.
- To make the Easter grass ring (underneath the plate), gather a bundle of grass and fold in half twice. Tape the side that has the loop to keep the grass together. Repeat until you create enough grass bundles for the ring. Tape the bundles of grass in a ring to border your plate.
- Raise the plate off of the poster by cutting out 3 or more 5”x5” foam board pieces and adhere into the middle of the grass ring. Glue plate to foam board.
- Print your favorite Egg Template and use your imagination when decorating! You can use crayons, sprinkle glitter, and even adhere self-stick gems.
- Print the Colored Carrot and Colored Hot Cross Buns Templates and trim to size for an easy brunch. OPTIONAL: To create your own carrots and buns from cut paper, print the Carrot and Hot Cross Bun Templates and create from your preferred paper.
- Glue all of your brunch items to the plate. Attach a plastic fork and knife to the plate to complete your Bunny Brunch! OPTIONAL: You can add as many food items as you want, be creative with your brunch!
- Use letters to spell out the words “Bunny Benefit Brunch” along with the date and time of the event. Put each letter in place, making sure they are straight and adhere letter to your poster.
- Print out the Flower Template. Cut out each piece, and color. You can also trace the templates onto construction paper. Glue the flowers to the poster.
- Use a hole puncher to create holes for a ribbon border. Punch the holes 1” apart for even ribbon threading. After threading all the ribbon, tape the end of the ribbon to the back of the poster. Create the bow by tying the ribbon like you tie shoelaces and glue in place. OPTIONAL: Add or substitute more elements as you prefer for your poster. If the final poster is too heavy, attach to a 22”x28” piece of foam board for reinforcement.
