Steps to Follow:
- Use a black poster board for your background.
- Print out your images, information, the Gettysburg Address, and a fact sheet onto construction paper
- WITH ADULT SUPERVISION: You can make the paper look aged by wetting the paper lightly and then burning it. Be very careful with this step and always remember - Safety First! You can also achieve the "aged" look by wetting a tea bag and then rubbing it on the paper.
- For your title, use black quick letters on a piece of the white burnt paper. Tear the edges of the white paper around his name. Outline each letter of his name with silver jumbo glitter glue and set them aside to dry.
- Mount 2 of your pictures on colored paper and cut around the edges with edging scissors to create a mat border. Layer these images on a second color of paper and glue them down.
- Use black vinyl letters on white paper to add the dates. Cut this out and lay it down on the bottom center of your poster board.
- Lay out your title, images, information, flag, and fact sheet.
- Add 2 holographic burst eye catchers and 2 holographic star eye catchers to your poster.
- Glue everything down.
- Outline your flag with silver jumbo glitter glue. Add red and blue jumbo glitter glue dots around the dates. Add silver jumbo glitter glue dots around the bottom 2 images.
