Steps to Follow:
- Start
by cutting out orange and red poster board into the shape of flames for
the bottom border and hot glue on to an ArtSkills neon yellow foam
board.
- Lay
out ArtSkills jumbo red classic poster letters to spell out "Fire
Safety" and "PASS". If you would like to add a shadow effect, put jumbo
black classic letters behind the red.
- Spell
out "The PASS System" using classic poster letters and what each letter
in PASS means in black vinyl letters. Make sure to leave space on both
sides. The right side is for the fire extinguisher and the left side is
for the light up stars.
- You can use a printed clip art for the fire extinguisher or use the following steps to create a 3-D fire extinguisher.
- Cut
out a rectangle using ArtSkills red poster board. Make sure it is large
enough to curve and fold in about half an inch of each side to glue
onto the neon yellow poster board.
- Do
the same thing with a much smaller rectangle to glue on as the neck of
the fire extinguisher. Then glue on strips of black poster board to the
top and bottom.
- Using
our poster as a reference, cut out a black piece of poster board for
the trigger of the fire extinguisher and hot glue it on to the neon
yellow poster board.
- Shape black duct tape into a snake shape for the hose.
- Cut a small silver dixie cup in half and hot glue. Use cotton to create a 3-D cloud of smoke.
