Steps to Follow:
To make this poster by hand:
- Start with a piece of ArtSkills neon blue poster board and lay it our horizontally.
- Cut your poster board into a fishbowl shape using either an ArtSkills Poster Knife or scissors. Be sure to use extra caution when cutting.
- On blue paper that is slightly darker than your poster, use a black ArtSkills Permanent Marker to draw two circles and cut them out. Use the poster image above as reference for what size the circles should be in comparison to your fishbowl. Glue one circle to the very top of your fishbowl, only overlapping the bowl an inch or so. Glue the other circle to the top right of the first one, again only overlapping a bit.
- Lay out your title, "MY 100TH DAY COLLECTION," across your two circles using yellow ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters and Numbers.
- Glue one holographic blue wave ArtSkills Poster Border below your title in the center of your lower circle.
- Add highlights to your two circles using silver ArtSkills Jumbo Glitter Glue.
- Cut some seaweed shapes out of light and dark green paper to go in your fishbowl. Glue them down when you find the right positioning. Accent these by outlining potions of them with green ArtSkills Jumbo Glitter Glue.
- Add a rim to the top of your fishbowl using silver ArtSkills Jumbo Glitter Glue. Now, go around your fishbowl and add highlights, also using sliver ArtSkills Jumbo Glitter Glue. Use the poster image above as reference for this.
- Add a surface level to your bowl below your seaweed leaves by coloring small areas with a brown ArtSkills Permanent Marker and then going over them with silver ArtSkills Jumbo Glitter Glue.
- Find a bubble clip art image you like, print out four of them in different sizes, from tiny to small, and glue them down leading up to the two blue circles coming out the top of your fishbowl.
- Use the ArtSkills Mega Glue Kit and Glitter Shakers to add hints of silver glitter around your fishbowl.
- Find the fish you would like to use for your design, whether they are fish-shaped crackers or a small fish clip art image, and glue them down around your poster in schools of ten.
- Find a shell and pearl clip art image you like. Print and cut it out, and then glue it to the floor of your fishbowl.
- Great work! Your poster is all done.
