Steps to Follow:
To make this poster by hand:
- Start out with a piece of ArtSkills white poster board and lay it out vertically.
- Find a St.-Patrick's-Day-themed rainbow clip art image like the one shown in the poster picture above and print it out to fit your poster. Don't be afraid to overlap the edges and tilt the image to create a unique look.
- A quarter of the way down your poster from the top on the left-hand side, add the name of your school using red ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters. Below that and to the right a bit, add "ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARTY!" using green ArtSkills Neon Poster Letters. To get a slimmer look like the lettering in the poster above, either write your title out with a green ArtSkills Bright Washable Poster Marker or cut letters in a similar font out of neon green paper using an ArtSkills Poster Knife and glue them to your poster. Be sure to use caution if you cut your letters out. Below this and moved even more to the right, add your party's time, date, and location using orange ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters and Numbers.
- Below your time, date, and location, add a large gold holographic burst ArtSkills Eye Catcher towards the left-hand side of your poster. On top of this, add information about any contest your party may be having with green ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters.
- Add the words "CRAFTS," "MUSIC," and "IRISH TREATS!," along the bottom of your poster using red, blue and black ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters respectively. Make sure to leave space between each of your words and feel free to use different words that would better fit your party.
- Find some St.-Patrick's-Day-themed clip art images you like. Print and cut them out, then glue them randomly around your poster to fill spaces.
- Find a small four-leaf clover clip art image. Print out two copies of it, cut them out, and glue them down in the blank spaces between your bottom wording.
- Good job! Your poster is now complete.
