Steps to Follow:
To Make this on the Poster Wizard:
Step 1: Pick Your Poster Size.
Choose a size that will best fit your poster layout. Gather your clip art images for the five kingdoms and upload them.
Step 2: Pick a Background Color.
You want the color to enhance, but not overpower your information or clip art images.
Step 3: Add a Border.
Before adding your title or any pictures or information, decide if you need a border to highlight or unify your theme. In the example above, the regal neon blue blocks border was added to the top and bottom edge of the poster to go along with the kingdoms theme.
Step 4: Add a Title.
This is where you want to grab attention so be creative and reinforce your poster’s theme. Above, black quick letters were placed behind neon quick letters on top for a drop shadow effect.
Step 5: Add Images.
Decide if you want to add colored borders to make them stand out. You will have to resize them as necessary to make your poster layout appealing.
Step 6: Add Text Boxes.
Add your information for each of the five kingdoms as text boxes, deciding on a background color or font that will best enhance the theme of your poster. Adjust the text box sizes to keep your layout neat.
Step 7: Add a Title.
To identify the individual kingdoms, such as plant, animal, protist, moneran and fungus, add them as titles using blue foam letters. You may have to adjust their sizes.
Step 8: Add Shapes.
Add neon blue arrow shapes to point to each of the individual living things of the five kingdoms.
Step 9: Now you are ready to SAVE and FINISH.
When you are finished, your poster will be sent to you by email. Then you can decide how you would like to print out your poster. |
