Steps to Follow:
To make a science fair tri-fold poster using the Poster Wizard:
Step 1: Pick Your Poster Size.
Choose a size that will best fit your poster layout. A horizontal tri-fold layout will work best to display your information. Upload images relating to your simple circuit project.
Step 2: Pick a Background Color.
You want the color to enhance, but not overpower your information or clip art images, so keep the background white.
Step 3: Add Borders.
Add purple blocks borders around the entire edge of your poster.
Step 4: Add a Title.
Add your title, "How To Make A," with black vinyl letters in the upper left hand side of the poster. Next, take a text box, delete "Enter Your Text Here," give it a yellow background and a black border, and resize this to fit behind the wording. Then, send the text box to the back. Use blue quick letters for "SIMPLE CIRCUIT" and layer random color letters on top for a drop shadow effect. Resize as necessary for a pleasing layout.
Step 5: Add Shapes and Images.
Lay out your images, some with borders and some without. Add your information as text boxes with colored borders. Next, add some burst shapes and an arrow shape to your poster to draw attention. Put the word "DIRECTIONS" as a title with blue quick stick foam letters and "DIAGRAM A" as a title with black vinyl letters. Resize as necessary for a pleasing layout.
Step 6: Now, you are ready to SAVE and FINISH.
When you are finished, your poster will be sent to you by email. Then you can decide how you would like to print it out. |
