Let's Get Started

Wreath Tag

STEP 1:

A) Apply hot glue to the back of a green button.
B) Hot glue assorted green buttons in a circle on the tag to create the wreath shape.
C) Hot glue a few red buttons on the wreath to make berries.
D) Make a bow from baker’s twine and hot glue the bow to the bottom of the wreath.

STEP 2:

A)    Print out the template.

B)    Cut out the paper template shapes.

C)   Use the paper template shapes to cut out the felt shapes.

Holly Tag

STEP 3:

A)    Hot glue two felt holly leaves to a tag.

B)    Hot glue three assorted red buttons to the tag as the berries.

Candy Cane Tag

STEP 4:

A)    Twist assorted red, pink, and white chenille stems together.

B)    Bend the end of the twisted chenille stems to make the candy cane shape.

C)   Cut off excess chenille stems that will hang off the tag. Hot glue the candy cane to the tag.

D)   Hot glue a holly leaf and a red button to the candy cane.

Snowman Tag

STEP 5:

A)    Apply hot glue to the back of a large white button. Hot glue the large white button, then a medium and a small white button to the tag to make the snowman.

B)    Hot glue the black felt hat on the snowman’s head.

C)   Apply hot glue between the medium and small button at the snowman’s neck.

D)   Hot glue a piece of chunky yarn to the snowman as a scarf.

Santa Tag

STEP 6:

A)    Cut a piece of fur that is 1 3/4" wide by 2" long. Note: Make sure the fur is running the long way on the tag to look like Santa’s beard. Hot glue the fur to the bottom of the tag so that the fur hangs over the edge.

B)    Hot glue a red button in the center of the tag, halfway over the white fur. This will be Santa’s nose.

C)   Hot glue the red felt hat and the white felt trim on the tag, making sure that half of the  red button peeks out from under the hat.

D)   Fold the hat flap over and hot glue it to the tag. Hot glue a jingle bell to the tip of the hat.

STEP 7:

A)    Insert a folded length of jute through the hole on the front of the tag.

B)    Tuck the loose ends of the jute under the loop and pull tight.

C)   Make a knot with the loose ends of the jute.

D)   Repeat this process to make jute hangers on each of the tags.
