Let's Get Started

STEP 1:

A)    Use the template provided to cut out the flower and leaf shapes. Note: An .svg file is provided for use with a cutting machine. Make an assortment of colors for each flower shape.

STEP 2:

A)    Use a pencil to curl the flower petals, adding dimension.

B)    Fold the leaves in half to make a center crease and add dimension.

STEP 3:

A)    Hot glue the flower shapes together in layers, making an assortment of unique, colorful flowers.

STEP 4:

A)    Cut the wood skewers into different lengths.

B)    Hot glue the flowers to the cut ends of the wood skewers.

C)   Hot glue leaves to shorter wood skewers.

STEP 5:

A)    Insert the flowers and leaves into a cake.
