Winter Wreath
Create simple yet elegant winter decor using poster board leaves, cut and shaped to form a beautiful wreath. The leaves are sprinkled with glitter, adding a subtle sparkle that captures the magic of a winter landscape.

Let's Get Started

 

Note: A .pdf file is provided for hand cutting the leaves. An .svg file is provided for use with a cutting machine. Use Steps 1 and 2 to hand cut the poster board leaves.

STEP 1:

A)    Print out the template.

B)    Cut out the paper leaf templates.

STEP 2:

A)    Trace the paper leaf templates onto the poster board. Note: You will need about 50 leaves to cover the 10" wreath.

B)    Cut out the leaves.

STEP 3:

A)    Fold the leaves in half for added dimension.

B)    Apply hot glue to the backs of the leaves.

C)   Press the leaves onto the wreath form. Tip: Overlap the leaves as you work your way around the wreath.

D)   Your paper wreath is now complete!

STEP 4:

A)    Brush tacky glue onto the leaves. Tip: Work one area at a time so the glue stays wet.

B)    Sprinkle glitter onto the wet glue. Let dry.

C)   Your winter wreath is now complete!
