Wood Bead Candle Ring

Wood Bead Candle Ring
Design a charming candle ring by crafting a circle of white-painted wood beads to encircle a pillar candle. Nestled on a cork coaster decorated with winter greenery, this centerpiece brings a soft, rustic elegance perfect for winter decor.

Let's Get Started

STEP 1:

A)    Decide upon a design and then figure out how many wood beads and how much jute is needed to wrap around the pillar candle. Leave extra jute to allow for tying in a later step. Note: You will be making two wood bead rings, so be sure to account for that.

B)    Paint the wood beads white. Let dry.

C)   String the wood beads onto the jute following the design you chose.

D)   Tie the jute ends together and trim the excess. You will now have two wood bead rings.

STEP 2:

A) Hot glue artificial greens around the edge of a cork coaster.

STEP 3:

A)    Apply hot glue on top of the greens. Note: Stay inside the perimeter of the cork coaster.

B)    Press the second cork coaster onto the hot glue to sandwich the greens between the coasters.

C)   The base of the candle ring holder is now made.

STEP 4:

A)    Set the pillar candle on the coaster base.

B)    Slide the wood bead rings onto the candle so they stack on top of each other at the bottom.

C)   The wood bead candle ring is now made.
