Wood Bead Heart

STEP 1:

A)    Cut approximately 15" of wire and bend it into a “V” shape.

B)    Slide wood beads onto the wire.

C)   Bend the ends of the wire to hold the beads in place.

D)   Bend the wire to make a heart shape, then hook and twist the ends of the wire together. Trim any excess wire.

STEP 2:

A)    Add watercolor to the beads. Tip: Use dark pink at the bottom, then fade upwards to light pink, and then white. Let dry.

STEP 3:

A)    Use jute to make a loop hanger for the wood bead heart.

STEP 4:

A)    Compile an assortment of ribbons.

B)    Tie them together in the center on the back of the bunch.

C)   Flip the ribbon bow back to the front, and adjust the ribbons if needed.

D)   Hot glue the ribbon bow accent to the wood bead heart.
